Are there any other women with vitiligo posting on this website? I have got vitiligo on my hands and am looking for some good suggestions about ways to effectively cover my vitiligo up, without irritating my skin or anything like that. I am looking forward to some ideas! I am so fed up with people looking at me like I am contagious or something!
Yes!! I am also! The most visible places is on my hands and around my eyes. Most people think that I have just "faked baked" too much with goggles on my eyes!! I have found that Clinique has a really good eye cover up that does a really good job. Yeah it's an eye cover up but it's thicker so it does an awesome job. I have a lighter tone for the winter and a slightly darker tone for the summer. I found it at my local Macy's Department store. I'm sure that any major department store with a make up counter would be willing to help you out. But it is also good to hear that someone else is out there with my exact same problem!!

I know how you feel, I have the same problem, I use self tanning lotion on my hands, it lasts about 3 days in normal daily routine.

I had vitiligo for 8 years now and I had tried different treatments (PUVA, topical steroid, meladinine cream/solution with exposure to sunlight/PUVA, oral meladinine, oil of bergamot). The vitiligo covered my neck, and one-fourth of my face. I looked for another dermatologist because i lost hope with my past dermatologists. Then somebody recommended me a good natural treatment and it worked very well. Now i'm 90% cured. With only 1 1/2 month of treatment.
