So, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex exactly a week ago. My boyfriend pulled out about 20 seconds before he climaxed and it got on my bum but it went down and I am not certain if it got inside of me because of all of the commotion going on down there... one day later, I started spotting a brownish substance. I have never had regular periods so I am not sure when my ovulation cyle is. Sometimes I could go 5 months without having one but when I did get it, it would start on the 12-19 not being the same day everytime. It was in that region though. Anyways, I am afraid that I may be experiencing Implantation symptoms and I have looked up other posts but none of them could exactly relate to my situation. Also, when we had sex, I would experience some pain when he went too hard and it was a sharp poking feeling as though he was going too far in. I just want to know if I am spotting because maybe I have something torn, it's just my menstrual cycle acting up again, that I am pregnant, or what. Just anything. But please, if you do not have confidence in your answer or are not serious about my question, then do not answer because I don't want to get confused on so many different answers just like other posts I have read. I am pretty worried however my boyfriend says he doesn't feel like I'm pregnant which is a good sign because (I know this is cheesy but...) they usually know before you and have a feeling that you are. He tells me to calm down but everyone who knows me knows I am the queen of worries. Please send me some feedback! I need all of the good help I can get! Thank you so much!

Hi Prity,

Usually brown blood is "higher" up, not near the vaginal opening. It could be ovulation bleeding. It would be very early, the next day, for it to be implantation bleeding. That usually doesn't occur until about a week before you're due, or a week after you ovulate.

The pain may also be related to the bleeding, its hard to tell without an exam, but it could be from your hymen. It may be partially torn and still tearing.

I know you want specifics, but without an exam or a good idea as to when you ovulate, you can't.

Hope it helps.

Okay, thank you! I have heard of implantation bleeding starting two days after sex, so it makes me uneasy because so many people are different so I dont know what to believe. I know I need to get checked but I just dont want to deal with the one that will be taking me to the doctor and her nosy sidekick...my mom and dad. But thank you so much and I will look into that.
