I am about 23 years old and i'm wanting so badly to get pregnant but nothing seems to work. :-( :-) My fiancee and I are getting very worried. :'( I went to planned parenthood and got tested for all std's and had a pap done.. they all came out either normal or negative. %-) Should i go to a reg. doctor instead of planned parenthood or what? Please Help.
It takes the average healthy couple around 3-6 months of trying to achieve a pregnancy. Doctors won't usually investigate until you have been trying for a year. You can increace your chances by making sure you have intercourse at the most fertile times. A good website is fertilityfriend.com
hello just wanted to let you know that u dont hav to be tryin for a year my husband an i have been tryin for 2 months and the first month my doctor sent me to a specialist b/c they determined i hav pcos so u should go see a gyn b/c they will be able to help u if something is wrong im already taking medicine to help with my hormone balance and the doc said we could do fertiliy drugs anywhere to 3 to six months depending on how long we wanted to wait and im 25 so dont believe everything everyone tells oh and if something is wrong he can get a second opinion. my ob told me one thing and i got a new one b/c she didn't even remeber i was tryin and my new ob said why didnt your ob tell send u to see so and so. Go see and ob and if they brush you away get a second opinion you dont have to wait a year to recieve help it all depends on your doctor and your situation i have a history of pain and irregular mentruals and not very good eggs.
