Hello, I would like some advice. I am 56 years old and from now on I will have to deal with deep vein thrombosis. The doctors did not yet bring a decision regarding my therapy but I have heard that wearing pressure stockings might help for deep vein thrombosis during flight. Is that true?
Well, I think there was even a discussion whether those stockings are actually helping people with deep vein thrombosis or not. And it was proven that they really do help! They make only a slight, gentle pressure that will not affect the organism, but will help the blood flow more easily. And they also reduce the risk of clot making.
