I want to develop my body proportionally. I am going to start lifting weights. Since I don’t want to give up cycling I am not sure how I am going to balance the two of them. I hear that bodybuilding is very demanding and I don’t know if I am going to have enough time and energy for my rides. Any suggestions?

Good choice. Bodybuilding is a complex sport and will help you to develop your whole body. There is no reason for you to give up cycling. Lifting weights is very demanding but only if you going to compete for Mr. Olympia. You can perfectly balance bodybuilding and cycling. Many competitive bodybuilders cycle or run to get aerobic exercise as well. Also many competitive cyclists lift weights to get more power in their legs. They manage to achieve good balance. So will you.
