Your post came very close to home for me. I am 27 years old, single with no kids. I have been on birth control since I was twelve and the depo provera for nine years straight. I have had four surgeries over the years to help with my liaisons and adhesions from severe endometriosis. Two surgeries were within three months of each and less then a year ago. The first was in December to remove a two inch cyst and liaisons. The second was in March to do a partial oopherectomy. It is now December again and I am scheduling for a hysterectomy. I wanted kids my whole life, so the news has been hard to take, although living life this way is harder. But I have lived with this disease for so long. I have seen how it has effected my relationships and changed me in so many ways. Before it started getting to the point where it began changing everything, I weighed 125. Now ten years later I weigh 165. I am really hopeful to the new possibilities I can't quite see or understand. After the partial oopherectomy, I went skydiving for the first time. I am finally surrendering because I want my life back. And hopefully one day I will be able to adopt a family. Thank you for the positivities.
