I would like to be more informed about the laser atherectomy. This is because my mother is due to that procedure in two weeks and I would lie of I say I am not worried for her. I am also concerned about the operation itself. What are the risks, chances of damaging artery walls? Will she be ok?
Well, you have to know that this procedure has to be done in order for your mother to continue with her life normally (more or less). As for the risks, there are always risks when some has to undergo a procedure or a surgery. But still, the benefits of it are far grater than those risks. Although, she will have to correct her way of living drastically, if she wants no more heart issues.
