So I was in a motorcycle accident where my bike landed on my foot. I managed to get back up and ride my bike home. Unfortunately, my foot  started swelling up and bruising so I went to the A&E the next day and I was put in a cast and given crutches.

I finally got diagnosed with a lisfranc injury 4 weeks after the accident and told I needed surgery on week 6. I'm a student studying overseas and I plan on completing my final semester before heading back to my country (Singapore) to do the procedure in about another 1.5 months.

I was looking up the internet on the possible repercussions of delaying the surgery further as I have seen some people who had good results even after delayed surgery. I don't feel much pain in my foot and can weight-bear partially. I'm also a fairly active person and I would like to know how the recovery process will be like and if i can return to my previous athletic level
