I don’t know much about wegener's granulomatosis. I know that is very rare disease and that it’s a very small chance to get it but I like to be informed. I know that it can be very dangerous but I think there is some cure fot it. Does anybody know what are the prognosis for patient with wegener's granulomatosis?
Early diagnosis and treatment may lead to a full recovery, but without treatment, this disease can be fatal. Many people respond well to treatment, but still long-term complications are very common (86%): mainly chronic renal failure, hearing loss and deafness. Because the disease can recur, your doctor is likely to continue monitoring your condition after treatment.
