So for a couple of days I've been having "headaches" I'm not sure what from,I wonder if it's from my tooth that cracked in half and I damaged nerves or that it eye strain or something like that, it's normally on the right side and slowly moves to my left or down near to my eyes. I've been searching headaches up and it has been saying things like brain tumor bleeding brain and things like that ( the things that get you paranoid ) I just want to know that everything is fine with me and I'm not gonna die in my sleep or something..
If anyone can help plz do Xx
P.s.I'm 13yo if that helps
Hello, guest.
Given your age and the symptoms you're describing, there could be a few potential explanations for your headaches:
-
Dental Issues: Since you mentioned a cracked tooth, it's possible that this could be contributing to your headaches, especially if there's nerve damage or infection involved. Dental problems can sometimes cause referred pain, which means the pain is felt in a different area than where the problem is located (like headaches from a tooth issue).
-
Eye Strain: If you spend a lot of time in front of screens (like computers, tablets, or phones), this can cause eye strain, which might lead to headaches, particularly around or behind the eyes.
-
Tension Headaches: These are common in people of all ages and can be caused by stress, poor posture, or muscle strain. They often feel like a tight band around the head.
-
Sinus Issues: If you have allergies or a sinus infection, this can also cause headaches, often with pain around the forehead, eyes, and cheeks.
You need to try to:
- Maintain good posture, especially when using electronic devices.
- Take regular breaks from screens.
- Get enough rest and sleep.
- Manage stress with relaxation techniques like deep breathing or light exercise.
Remember, most headaches, especially in young people, are due to relatively benign causes and can be effectively treated or managed. However, it's always best to get checked out by a doctor to ensure you get the right advice and treatment.
