Well, the other day I was scratching myself and felt a bump. I was shocked, so I got to a private area and took a look. I found a small, hard, painless bump on my scrotum. Then after more investigation I found a couple more. They seem to be located near hair follicle more than not. They are hardly noticeable, unless stretched out, and are flesh colored. I found that that I normally itch where they are located too. Then I found what scares me the most. There's a bigger more bumpy looking one at the base of my penis, where the scrotum meets it on the underside. Now this was really hard to find, because it was on the line that goes down the middle of the scrotum to the lower part of the penis. Unless stretched out, it looks like nothing is there.

Below are some pictures I took. I researched some and found it could be a couple things; warts, cysts, or oil glands. Now, I'm not sexually active and the last time I had sex was about two years ago. I'm not sure how long they have been there, but I have always had a very itchy scrotum (since puberty).

Also, when I was younger I had poor hygiene. Would be out all day, sweating, and not shower after. Kind of built a bad habit, but have since correct it, so I'm not sure what it is.

Small bumps.

Bigger thing.
I'm not a doctor, certified physician or anything of the sort. But from what i've been reading online it could be any number of things. The first two pictures look rather innocent, but the third does look like something that should be checked out. The flesh colored bumps could be bug bites, ingrown hairs, infected hair follicles etc. If it is infected, it should get bigger and eventually burst with pus. But in my opinion I'd get it checked out sooner than later.

the harder bumps look like they are benign cysts.
you can have them removed by a dermatologist if they bother you.
other than the visual, they are harmless.

the darker, asymmetrical lesions look more like skin tags.
the result of chaffing. again you can have that removed.

most importantly, go see a dermatologist.
he can confirm all this.

I am now 46 years old and I have had issues like this all my life. Started as a very small but itchy patch under my scrotum sac and never went away,  only gradually got bigger.  I had some of the bumps or follicle pimples too that also itch.  I know I shouldn't itch or pop the pimples, but it his is a very hard thing to do NOT TOUCH this area for men...  We sweat, we wash, we masterbate and go #2...  this area is busy and to clean it with this condition,  IT GETS IRRITATED AND INFLAMED AND ITCHY.  Mine does anyway and that is why I'm mentioning...  Personally, had or me, I also have a scalp condition of mild to moderated sebbhoria (cradle cap) which also is awful because of the itch.  The sebborhia also affects my face with dry itchy red patches.  AND worse of all the itchy patch that was once small, now affects my entire butt crack area, my scrotum folds and parts of my penis occasionally!!  right now the penis is ok, but EVERYWHERE else is just awedul and I'm in serious need of help and advise.  The derms haven't been helpful trying this corticosteroid and that, but nothing helps.  Lately I've been using Gold Bond Extra strength Cream for it he itch.  But I can't imagine that that is good for prolonged use...  Anyone identify or help??

The "bigger" thing picture looks like warts.  Go to a dermatologist or your general physician.  He or she can remove them.

top 2 are just hair folicals im 34 and iv had then since i got pubic hair you can it you want squeeze them and it will remove the c**p under the skin iv never had any problems

Ever try squeeze one of them. I try and clear stuff came out or blood or both

The bumps are ectopic sebaceous glands. They are benign. No treatment is necessary. If a bump is growing, you can squeeze it like an acne.
