What do I do about my smelly foreskin?

Tell me please!

Unpleasant penis odors are common, especially for uncircumcised men. They are usually linked to bacteria that are attracted to the accumulation of dead skin cells and body oils that collects under the foreskin (i.e., smegma). Washing every day can eliminate some of this problem, but when that’s not enough, a penis vitamin formula (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil) containing vitamin A – a natural antibacterial agent – often helps to get rid of the bad smell.

 

just use aloe vera. the best natural antibacteria. you can get at local farmacy ones or you can plant it yourself and just cut abit and use the jelly part of it. Not the spiky skin mind you :P

I just use Amway Aloe Gel since its cheaper than pharmacy and I dry it properly after bath then apply some to it.

Do not use any products that contain alcohol.. Alcohol actually raises the chance of yeast infections in us uncut types. I have found the solution, works 100%.. When taking a shower pull foreskin back Pour white or Apple Cider vinegar over your head and make sure you get the whole head and inside of the foreskin,, make sure it stays on the head for about 5 to 10 seconds.. Vinegar will kill both Bacteria AND yeast. This will keep yer weeweee clean for and smelless between 2 and 3 days. Do not overuse Vinegar.. do not leave it on for more than 10 seconds.. wash it thoroughly but with water only, do not use soap.

I don't mean to be rude but, antibacterial soap is actually not good for fungus, it kills bacteria but leaves behind fungus and viral infections,

Strangely you might think, mouthwash rubbed over the retracted foreskin/glans, once a week really works! But DON'T choose the ones which have alcohol in the contents list (unless you want an intense tingly sensation. READ the label! If it's safe in your mouth tissues, it will be safe on exactly the same type of mucous membrane that forms the inner foreskin.

wash it every time you go to bathroom after getting home from school for work.

What is your solution?

People, I'm an uncircumsized, forty something year old and have lived with varying degrees of a smelly helmet since I was a child, despite always being dilligent about pulling back my foreskin and washing it every day. It's only been in the last 6 months that I've found a satisfactory solution. I'm not promising that it will work for everyone, but it's worth a go..

1. Pull back the foreskin and wash it thoroghly every day when you shower.

2. Dry everything off.

3. Now, here's the important bit.... Keep your foreskin back when you get dressed, and keep it back all day as much as you can. My foreskin will stay back behind the head most of the time. Every now and then it'll sneak down and take a pube with it which is quite uncomfortable, so I suggest keeping your pubic hair short, or even waxed if possible around where your head sits most of the day. When I go to bed I pull the foreskin down into its natural position.

One of the drawbacks/bonuses (depending on how you look at it) is it tends to make you more aroused throughout the day, so for around half of the waking hours it's not totally flaccid if you catch my drift.

It can take work at times to keep it back, but it's been really worth it for me. I'm totally happy that the odor is finally gone for good.

The smell comes from smegma which is created when living cells grow to the surface of the inner foreskin and get broken down. It is a fatty substance, which is perhaps why it is hard to wash off.

As for eliminating masculine genital smells, apply talcum powder to the entire genital area- be careful not to use too much. Pull back the foreskin when doing this, so that it and the head of the penis get dusted with a light layer. Smegma is created for lubrication, so only apply a bit more powder to the inner foreskin and head of the penis if your foreskin pulls back easily. The powder also has the effect of drying everything up, so that it will wash away more easily. Many powders with various deodorizing scents are sold on the internet.

Scientifically, it is unclear if the foreskin enhances sexual pleasure, but I can tell you that it absolutely does! During sexual arousal, the inner foreskin becomes sensitive and, when pulled back and exposed, gives pleasure when stimulated. What is widely known is that circumcision desensitizes the head the penis. Use talcum powder instead, perhaps one with a pleasurable smell.

I am uncircumsized also, for myself when I shower I usually only use water when washing the head of my penis. I believe soap contributes to the problem. If you dont wash is all off residue for the soap after when you pee or masterbate this soap residue that has dried up by now is adding to the smelly affect of the pee and semen. So basically wash once a day and wash with only water on your penis and make sure the head of your penis is dry aswell before pulling it back. Works for me, also pull your foreskin back when peeing.

It is normal to have a fishy smell down there, because of the body fluids and dead skin cells that get trapped under the foreskin. You have to wash underneath every day and make sure to remove all of the buildup - called smegma - and be sure to dry yourself thoroughly before you replace the foreskin. You can also use a penis health cream with vitamin A (Man1 Man Oil is a good product) - vitamin A is a natural odor-killer and won't irritate the penis.

This is how i cured mine and it works !!!!!!  each day rub a little neosporin or similiar you can find generic brands,  on the entire head of penis.  this will take smell away i promise ive been doing this for years.  you have to use the clear neosporin not the white one.  take a shower before you have sex and you will be good to go!!!! please let me know how this goes

I found mine discussing also. It was not only smelly but was ugly as well. The foreskin was probably a necessity for cavemen, but that is no longer true. My solution, I was circumcised at age 27. I am now 76 and never regretted it. I know others who feel the same. Sex has been so much better since I had that done, and I have no fear that I am offending anyone.
