You should wash it daily , twice would be ideal once upon waking up and before bed. The type of body wash also matters...bar soaps are not the greatest, liquid body washes with a medium viscosity work best....use shampoo first cuts and removes grease and oils that help cultivate that stench

Alright EVERYBODY LISTEN for the BEST FIX. Works every time and lasts.
Get organic apple cider vinegar.
Put a tablespoon of the apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of water into a small bowl or container.
Dip your head (retracted) and make sure to fully coat the glans and foreskin. (or you can pour it onto glans and foreskin).
Let sit for 30-60 seconds.
Take a shower normally and wash under foreskin etc. no need for soap or antibacterial sh*t that's worthless.
Get out and retract foreskin and LET IT COMPLETELY DRY. You can use a hair dryer if you wish.
Once completely dry you'll be good.
Check back every few hours and you'll notice the odor is completely gone and smells beautiful as it should.
The odor will come back if you take a piss and let urine stay trapped under foreskin.
When taking a leak, pull foreskin back and don't pull it back forward until every drop has gone away. Even one or two drops getting trapped under foreskin can begin to create the odors again.
There now you can enjoy odor free foreskin and take that burden off your shoulders.
