Yes , this is the only sensible explanation, I had same thing happen and I had diverticulitis at the time , deffo the correct diagnosis !

I am currently going threw the same thing I'm scared shirtless iv been to drs no ones taking me seriously. To make matters worse my now not even 2 year old son is now suffering as well from the corn type objects or seeds in stool along with what looks like whool n strange black strings I know neither of us are eating these items so please some serious answers would be good as I'm st my breaking point

I have been upset to see two sometimes one -a kedney shape bean like floating in the john, perfect in form, with a pasta soft type substance inside,I deal with IB .and have diabetis, AFTER READING SOME OF THESE ARTICLES I THINKING ITS THE IB

Thank GOD I found this group. I almost had a heart attack thinking I had colon cancer. I finally smashed one of these things open tonight and saw that it had a chalky white inside and I had the hopeful feeling that it might be an undissolved Metformin XR pill. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Thank you! Thank you! I had been worried sick about this. I tried searching all the med sites to no avail. After reading your post I also sat a Metformin credit in water overnight and wallah! It looked the same. I confirmed this with my husband who is a pharmacist. He said that many pills don't dissolve particularly extended releases. The are meant to leech out the medicine slowly. Anyway. I appreciate your post....I can relax now. Funny note.....when I ask him why this info isn't more readily available like in the package insert he said that most people aren't checking out their poop.....obviously he was wrong as so many of you prove.

I have researched and found it is most likely undigested casein. I was eating moderate protein (beef) and lots of butter, 0 carbs, no meds.
