Cute, but you forgot one thing, just take honey (it is loaded with antibiotics they feed the bees) and you won't have to buy any antibiotic.

Thank you for the recommendation of switching tooth paste. I can feel the white stuff sort of peeling off my mouth and I have recently started to use a whitening tooth paste. Will try going back to a normal toothpaste.

After much anxiety, web surfing, and experimentation by saving, then examining specimens of these string creatures, I believe to have found the answer. It was shortly after a good tooth brushing and gargling that I felt that substance in my mouth. Looking closey with a magnified Mirror, studied inside my mouth. Noticed the white skin membranes on the inner cheeks and white gook floating in the saliva. Answer – It's shed skin which appears more frequently after cleaning the mouth with any substance that has a whitening agent. You can check yourself, gather a string thingy with your finger and stretch it out on a piece of paper. With your finger nail – spread it out. Our tongue or finger “roll up” the skin residue into a string like thing - what a relief!

I just bought Crest Pro-Health YESTERDAY. Never have I had this stringy stuff occur before. Today after using it three times since yesterday, I had that awful gooey stuff. I was worried and did some research and I came across this page. I believe it is the Crest Pro-Health. I'm buying some new toothpaste today. Someone suggested Synsadone so I'll look into that. Thanks all!

when colgate total first came out, i noticed this too, I stopped using colgate total toothpaste, problem solved, it is some kind of chemical that causes that stringy looking stuff in your mouth, If you think about it, I bet this is when you started seeing this as well. I will never use this product again.

I have the same issue,, I use sensodine a well. After brushing my teeth, the white stringy stuff appears between my teeth as if I ate a mango that is stuck between them. Very weird.. Can I ask, other then being a bother & weird, can or does this pose a health issue??

I have white pacthes inside of my mouth, inner cheeks, tongue. They change their appearance over time but they are there. When I rensie my mouth white discharge is there. I am really depressed over this. I used to smoke. I have consulted two ENTs but they didn't seemed to be worried about that.

This has been going on for past 4 months. I met a new doctor just last week but he didn't seemed to be worried.

I think I have oral cancer. I used to smoke for 3 years and drink also. I am 25 years old. I quit smoking 5 months ago.

"What is this weird stringy stuff in my mouth?" I have indications of fungal or yeast overgrowth, and a few months ago I also noticed white strings among my teeth and along the gums in the morning. Since I have been practicing oil pulling, it has not returned. Oil pulling is done by rinsing with a teaspoon of coconut or sesame oil for 15 min. first thing in the AM followed by thorough rinsing or brushing.

It happens to me too. It's more like layers of slime, but I notice it happens when I brush my teeth for 5 minutes while I'm foaming all over. I'm guessing it's dead cells peeling off.

I have also had the white gunk in my mouth..mostly after I awaken...but a little all day...then after several months it stopped and then the skin in my mouth on the cheeks...got little invisible white bumps...and it felt like the skin came off in my mouth...and was rough...and one time started to bleed a little..then my mouth went like super dry..and my skin was sticking to my teeth..it felt horrible!!!! I use Dr. Mercolas toothpaste...and use Glyco to rinse with....all this made me wonder if I had a fungal sinus infection from my acrylic paints I use...as they get moldy over time while I'm working on the same painting...

I have developed the same problem, and after reading people's posts realize that I began using an arm and hammer toothpaste with baking soda recently. I'll try using something else. I'm glad I don't have to worry about little brown guys living in the roof of mouth!!( at least not yet!!!)
