My son built a birdhouse with his dad, they just didn't get a chance to paint it. My son wants to send it to his grandma for her b-day, but wants to paint it first.
What kind of paint? I want to paint it so it can withstand the elements. (like grandma will put it outside!) It seems it is a soft wood, like pine.
What should I buy? Do I need to prime the wood in any way?
Prime Yes, especially the soft pine. If you have any outdoor paint it should be go.
Use acrylic (sp.) paint also. I just did some checking to confirm
