Hey, I used to do Cross country and Track for two years in high school. It's been one year after i graduate and haf of it I've been doing weight training. Not I'm done with that, I'm into cross country again and want to keep on doing it. The things I don't have a running log or a stop watch, which I am going to get both of them if I can understand any of it. I guess my question is, what running logs are good? Because I'm starting to 3 miles a day every week except for sundays. I'm working up to get to 10 miles a day. Anyways, what's a good running log I can do? because I'm really confuse about that. I've been looking and no help. Anyone have any ideas?
Sorry for some typos and the misunderstanding...If you can't understand.

I just use a simple notebook, put the date, what I did, and stats. For stats I mean how long, how far, how fast, how many times and/or how high and usually my average heart rate. Some people like to go into great detail about pre-workout diet and notes on how they felt during the workout. It's a great way to set goals for each workout, compare workout to similar past workouts and keep yourself on a plan. It also makes me take pride in each workout since it's gonna be carved in stone in my 'mead'.

I put everything for each workout day whether sprints, long runs or cross training.

It's a great motivator but don't get disappointed if and when you hit an occasional platuea. Just remember, if it stops being fun you're taking it too seriously - an artist is driven by passion not pressure.
