I had my first gall bladder attack Friday. I take some medications and OTC pills. What must I avoid taking?
I am having surgery to remove my gallbladder on Thursday. My surgeon told me avoid all narcotic pain killers (for me it was Vicodin). He said that these can actually make the pain worse (weird!). The best thing to take for pain is Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Other than narcotics, I don't think that there are any other meds that should be avoided with gallbladder disease.

I had to go to the ER three days ago with a gall bladder attack. It was the first I have ever suffered. What drugs, prescription, or OTC should I avoid with this problem?
