I had sort of the same problem as you when i first started the pill. Even now when i have bad months, the blood can be a very very dark red or even black. I wouldn't worry too much about it as everyone is different. But if you do feel as though something is wrong please go to your nurse or gp...they deal with these things all the time so its nothing to embarrassed about. :)
