I know you're not really supposed to be going on a serious diet without doctors consent, but I'm not trying anything outrageous!
Anyway, I'm an overweight 16 year old girl and I want to start the year our right. I don't eat bad, but I don't eat great. Breakfast is a lot of bread (hot pockets, bagels, etc). I aim for seven hours of sleep (11:30 to 6:40), probably not long enough. I don't exercise as much as I should. I wanted to do soccer, but I realized that games and practice were going to get in the way of clubs that I'm really dedicated to, but I have a gym membership! I have good endurance for a lot of things, except running. I can do nice sprints and I can jog at my own pace (running is a little bit of a challenge for conditioning because I'm not used to running as fast as I have to).
So what I'm looking for is a nice diet that can help boost my metabolism and cut down on bread. If I can help it, I REALLY DON'T want to count calories!! And maybe a nice exercise plan for when I can't get to the gym (at the gym, I do 30 minutes of cardio, then weights, and I sit in the sauna).
Please help and thanks so much in advance!!!!
P.S I love fruits, teas (trying to get away from sweetening them up), and vegetables, and meat. And if I need to, I can go vegetarian for a while!
