I have the same symptoms. I found if I put my left are behind my back, it lets me breathe a little easier. Pain doesn't go away completely but it helps while I'm doing it.
what i assume it is, is you cracked your back and slightly moved a disk and when you breath it moves it a little bit, causing pain. i had the same thing. if you go to a chiropractor they can fix it fast.
Ive started experiencing pain below my right shoulder blade. Initially I though it was because of improper posture while sleeping and would vanish in a day or two but it still hurts me. its been 10 days.
I ve been working out at the gym from about an year and never had pain below the shoulder blade, stopped working out for a week to check if it is something related to weight lifting. I still have the pain so I think that is not the reason. Also, I play volley ball, cricket(not popular here in US)..does anyone think that could be the reason?
I started feeling pain when I inhale deeply since 3 days..so I am worried if it is something related broken rib cage..please advice if anyone had faced similar pain..
place a heating bag over the area were the pain is, then just relax and sleep...If it feels like that isnt working use Rub A535 or deep heat and put the heating bag back on... hope this works for you people..
Actually you are quite incorrect. As most people are about chiropractors. My chiropractor has a medical degree and is certified, he graduated from USC medical and sees between 20 and 30 patients, happy patients, everyday. I tore two muscles in my right leg and when the doctors suggested surgery I went back to him because he has never injured me or steered me wrong. Almost a year later I am stronger than before and have no more joint pain, or back issues becuase I discovered by going to him that they were caused by my hips being out of alignment. So you can give your opinion, educated or otherwise, about chiropractic medicine but have no doubt it is medicine, it is effective, and chiropractors are professionals. If you had a bad experience then that's your experience. Please don't turn people of to something you know nothing about.
without seeing a physician with a doctorate in medicine, i find it interesting that there is a diagnosis of the pain. funny.
get a softball or large dogtoy sized tennis ball, lay on the floor with ball between shoulders & ROLL IT OUT!just did it - it moves the ribs/vertabrae back into place!
Sounds like a pneumothorax. Go to the ER and get a chest x ray.
As I said already to him, your symptoms sound like youve had a pneumothorax (better known as a collapsed lung). I would advise you to go to the ER and to get a chest x ray taken.
This condition typically affects thin males.
I have been to "some" chiropractors that are truly quacks and think they can cure anything. But I also have been blessed to have been under the care of some very good chiropractors who helped my whole body pain that doctors could not figure out. A GOOD chiropractor will readily admit that they are NOT a medical doctor and if they think you need medical advice will tell you to go see your MD! The best Chiropractor I ever had and wish I still lived close enough to make use of is Dr. Peter Focesato in the great state of Washington!
I also am very keen on a GOOD chiropractor. I ruptured a disc about 12 years ago and the chiropractor immediately told me what it was. . . I went in every other day for a certain maneuver and he kept me pretty much pain free - until the regular doc finally ran their tests and gave me some injections of steroids. About 3 years ago I had another spinal CT and this doctor told me that i NEVER HAD A RUPTURED DISC - all of my disc had all their fluid. However - when I had the first diagnosis - the doctor actually pointed out the empty disc - very obvious on the pictures- easy to spot! I give credit to my great chiropractic care and of course God's healing power. .
I've had the same pain for years too-It will be under my right or left shoulder blade and last for days or weeks. Its is especially worse in the morning -or while sleeping. TO this day I do not know the cause,,I only know that I have to take a muscle relaxer {Flexaril} Use a Heating pad & ice pack for relief..I wish I knew what the cause was because the sharp pain & the inability to take a deep breath is very frustrating & a big concern. It might go away for a while,, but it keeps coming back-I wish I knew the cure...
