If it is a sharp pain just under the lower tip of your scapula and between the spine, but is hard to actually locate it could be caused by the overuse/cramping/shortening of the serratus anterior.

pain in right shoulder area is releated to gall bladder issues. not left side shoulder pain.
Dislocated ribs? Similar situation for 8 months until went to sports injury chiro. Actual injury caused by chiropractor for me...
That's exactly what I was going to say. Totally anecdotal. Proves nothing. I'd love to have the name of this God-like USC educated chiropractor. Does he practice in the L.A. Area?

When you have an injury to a shoulder blade or the tissues behind them there is inflammation that compress on your lungs. That will cause breathing issues when your lungs expand they will press against the inflamed tissue causing you to want to stop the expansion of the lung

You answered my question was wondering was this coming from the newybdiagnoised Lupus. I have had this before and it was fluid around my lungs( pleurisy) this was accompanied with shortness of breath and pain when I inhale. If your having these symptoms I would go to the Dr. or the hospital.
