Please woman MJ has zero side effects compared to the nasty side effects of antideppresants that linger and are hard to get off of. MJ is a simple effective solution unless you abuse it. And it wears off without tapering. Get off your high horse. You might like it

I will tell you honestly, mixing weed with quetiapine is a bad idea. It triples the effect of the weed. It makes the imbalance in your brain 3x worse. I'm currently on 250mg of quetiapine a day and I genuinely can't smoke weed because of the effects it gives me. The effects it gave me was;
-Feeling like there's a load of weight on your body
- Falling unconscious
- heaving but not actually throwing up
- Hearing everything going on around you but not being able to do anything
-feeling like you have no control of your body
- Everything is disorientated
-Time lapse (you don't know what happened in what order)
-Not talking any sense
I would strongly advise not to mix quetiapine with weed, purely from my experiences.
Everybody is different so I'm not going to say that everyone will have exactly the same effect but I'm just giving you an idea on effects it has given me on that medication.
Stay safe:)

there was a period of my life in which I was taking two benzos, Ativan for anxiety attacks and clonozapam for sleep and general anxiety. I'm currently addicted to them.. Finally off of the Ativan but still on the clono. I wish I would have just smoked pot.
I'm also on an antipsychotic. Quetiapine.
To answer op, I smoke at least once a week to help with withdrawal.. And no it doesn't make me crazy. It enhances the drowsy side effects if anything (specially with indicate). The withdrawal makes me crazy. Everyone's brain works and reacts differently to everything however. And is it really any of your business what your neighbours up to? You don't know their story, the conversations with their doctor or presumably what their mental health status is. I'd personally just advise you to butt out, unless you see suicidal behaviour that is.

No it's for bipolar

Pretty much everything you said here is wrong. Maybe actually having knowledge before you comment on such serious things as drugs would be a good thing. Seriously is an anti-psychotic and is used primarily for scitzophernia and bipolar. It can and is used for sleep. Which I take mine for sleep but I am also bipolar. So far I'm at 200mg and after a couple weeks it isn't helping me sleep anymore. But the point is you are so wrong and you should be more careful about what you say in an already difficult subject.

Honestly I'm living proof. I have a medical card and take 5 pills a day, which one of them is an antidepressant. It just makes me a little sleepy. And this is coming from someone who has to do this everyday or I'm in extreme pain.

The previous writer is correct, Seroquel is an anti-psychotic med sometimes prescribed off label for sleep (I am an RN/MSW who has worked Psych for over 20 years. What I would be most concerned about with someone that age taking so many drugs that can have coordination issues, esp when take together, would be falls, which many elderly people due to head trauma (ie, such as a fall in the tub).

I am 71 have been taking anti depressants, smoking pot and taking pain pills for serious spinal injuries. There is no dangerous interaction with taking all three. Just keep no secrets from your dr.

Uh no it's it not just for sleeping. I was prescribed with seroquil. Small dose yes it is. But my dose is 300mg and that is a dose for anti -psychotic , it's for my paranoia , skitzophrenia and other sh*t even tho I still see things/hear things. It's a shitty f*****g drug anyways.

It's not a good idea to mix weed if you have psychosis, bipolar or mental illness. It can intensify the hallucinations and paranoia.

Seroquel is an Anti-phsychotic.

those are just possible side effects, most people do not get them. the issue is more, if the person is on prescribed antipsychotics and benzos while smoking weed, they often think the weed is curing them and they feel they do not need their psych meds any more and stop taking them they will then have delusions and become sick as in mental state compromised
