no, seroquel and seroquel XR are atypical antipsychotics and used for mainly schizophrenia, schitzo-effective disorder, and bipolar disorder. it's only prescribed rarely in low doses for sleep. it can't be used for ADD or any of that c**p. check your facts
I'm not defending anything that was said but, you don't know the 60 y.o. medical history. Also marijuana Is absolutely NOT safe with every rx drug, generally, yes, but not every rx. Just because the drug affects you like that, or you read the side affects somewhere doesn't mean it will do that for everyone. You have to think about the patients overall health status and medical conditions. However, personally I can think of a lot of reasons why a 60 y.o. would be on 2 different benzos. I'm very familiar with these drugs as well as a advocate for Marijuana. That post could cause someone to die, because you believe you know your pharmacology/medicine.

First of all, Seroquel IS AN ANTIPSYCHOTIC. It has sedative properties but it is categorized under drug class Antipsychotic. I take 400 Mg a night, 1,000 milligrams of Lithium a day. (P.s. you should really do your research before giving false information.)
