Hello,

I’ve been diagnosed with pulmonary sarcoidosis relatively recently (about 8 months ago) and besides feeling tired all the time, I think I’m lucky because so far I didn’t have any major flare – ups. But, since this is very serious and lifelong disease, I’ve been researching which lifestyle changes I will need to make. Of course, I stopped smoking and I’m not drinking anyway, but I’ve read somewhere that there might be connection between type of protein patients with sarcoidosis eat and frequency of flare-ups. Does it make sense to remove red meat as a source of protein from my diet, and turn to soy, chicken or other lean met in order to have fewer flare-ups?

Thanks for your replies,

Julie

Soy products make sarcoidosis word for me, I have had no flare ups after I drop soy in my diet.
