White bumps on penis and lips....Are they sebaceous glands?

i have been slipping into a dperession as you other guys say. i am 16 and hav ehad any oppertunities for sex buthave purposely avoided them because i wasscared i had genital warts or herpeas or something haha..im glad o know now that i can live my life. i have had these since 8th grade and i noticed when i cleaned well and stopped masturbating they gradually shrank..i know its horrible haha.. they are still there bt i am relieved to find out they are not n std...could anyone tell me eif they are contagious though...like if i were to have sex?

hey guys, ive gone through the same thing as everyone else here. First saw them in grade 8, was hesitent with any female, was pretty down and out about them.. so I went to my doctor in grade 9, was pretty embarassed doing so but he assured me that there was absolutely nothing wrong, no std!! of course i wanted them gone as bad as anyone else, he told me there isn't much i could do but reducing dairy intake was the best method for reducing them.
im 24 now, ive had a long term relationship, she noticed, i told her what the deal was... we broke up a couple years later for other reasons. i've had lots of partners, still get down about it occasionally, but... atleast its not genital warts or herpes, which i originally thought it was!

I've had these for quite some time. I'm now 25. One of the bumps was more noticeable then the others and I would squeeze the hell out of it making a little bit of white stuff come out daily. This was a bad idea because this one is now larger and has turned darker in color than all the others and may be scarred, probably because I irritated it so bad. This one is now like a big lump on the side of the shaft and I'm hoping it shrinks back down if I leave it alone. So I don't recommend doing that. Other than that I still have it pretty bad all around my lower shaft, some days worse than others, some days not really bad at all. I used to use a prescription dose of hydrocortisone on them and i thought that was working a little, but it didn't get rid of them by any means. I was thinking about going tanning a bunch and seeing what that would do, hoping it would blend them in more and less noticeable. Has anyone tried this? Anyways, these things suck bad. I'm clinically depressed and it has driven me to be a raging alcoholic. I almost always only have sex when I am drunk to help me forget about it. If I am sober I am very conscious about it and will shy away from sexual activity usually. I'm just not one who can get over it, I know there's others out there like me too. It's easy for some to say "hey just forget about it you only live once go out and stick it everywhere" and whatnot, and that is true. But that doesn't work for me. I do believe these need to be made more public so they are acknowledged and that could help us a small bit. The doctor dude who has a morning show should have a segment on these for us.

Really? So i have turned down oppurtunitys to have sex over something i thought was gonna kill me/infect others. And whats worse to find that it is in 80% of males! ive been trying to find what this is for like 4 years now, ive had it since i was 13 now im 17. I cannot belive this isnt being taught in sex education so that both male and female know what it is. One so it saves the guy major depression and informs the girl on what it is and its no bigie. And i have noticed that your diet effects it, latley ive been eating junk and its flared up a little. I cant thank you enough for telling me what i have, the worry is now over. sucks im gonna have it forever though. Gonna be embrassing when a girl does notice. im just hoping they find the benefits of a natural ribbed comdom ahah!

They should really teach this in sex ed. I have been getting worried for nothing

I'm so glad my sex life wasn't too bad but one girl did think I had herpes because while I was giving her a blow job she started going on me and licking all around my penis and I mean everywhere it felt strangly nice though and she saw them and thought I had herpes but she still rode me pretty goods.

Have a warm bath every morning and pull the foreskin back if you have it, that should shrink them a hell of a lot

When I was 15 I noticed that I had these small whitehead looking bumps on the under side of my penis and over the years they spread. Only underneath never on top and I was freaking out like all of you too. Scared to tell anyone and put off sex for the sake of humiliation and people spreading the news about me. I lost my virginity at 16 and my tactic was to always have sex with the lights off and to avoid head jobs and get a condom on fast. I saw a doctor about it when I was 20 and I was sh**ting bricks about it. He told me it was normal and to maintain hygiene down there.. eat healthy and wash with aveeno body wash as it was good for the skin. I just have blocked oil glans and unfortunately some of us get this. Since doing this they became harder to notice over a long period of time (visibly smaller and less prominent) im now 29 and have had over 100 sexual partners and 2 serious relationships and almost every girl gave me head and not once ever has a girl questioned, spoken or asked about them. After the doctor told me it wasn't an std I was at ease with it. I had plenty of sexual experience and knew that by taking control of the situation the girl would never see them. Now I have sex with the lights on no condom with a partner and I hardly think about it. We are all normal an their are plenty of us with this. Girls have there eyes closed when they're sucking you off anyway!! And they only see the top half of your mast. Unless you are in 69 position.. only then will they see the under side.. lights off or mood lighting will take that vision away. When you're inside them there is no vision for them so just relax people and enjoy your sex life and don't let this hold you back. I've been in a relationship for 5yrs now and I haven't brought this to her attention and she has never asked about it.. the sex is great and im not self conscious about it at all. I hope my tips help at least someone! If you think my symptoms may not have been as bad as yours you are wrong. The whole under side of my penis was covered and I have then on my top lip too.
