OMG! I'm so glad I found this place. I've been freaking out a lot recently because of this issue. Mine came and went, came and went, for the past 10-15 years or so. I'm 22 now. Anyway, they have been on steadily for the past few years. I really thought I had something. I now have the courage to get this tested.
I'm gay so I'm not sure how the woman respond to it. And as for the gay guys reading this, most men don't notice.

Hi Guys I'm a 23 y.o male, I've also had these for a many years now. What I've found is a good treatment is to wrap a warm soaked towel around the area for 15 mins 2-4 times daily and they become less but do not entirely dissapear.
P.S. In about 30-40 sexual partners only once has a woman noticed but she didn't say anything. I realized she noticed by her facial reaction but she didn't say a thing about it. I never heard back from her again though. So sometimes it can be embarrassing but you just have to learn not to be so self conscious about it.
Hope you find this helpful
Cheers

I'm very happy I found this thread. Thank you all for your posts, I am very relieved now.
ive noticed these spots for a while, diddnt really pay attention to them figuring they were normal. literally about 15 min ago i looked and noticed there was a fair bit of them near the base of my penis. so i figured i might as well look it up and see what they acutally are, and i found this thread.
glad to conferm that everything is ok XD

I got the same thing, im 22 and ive had it since about 15, its annoying as hell. I think there has to be something that can make them go tho..
Twice I have had girls notice, on both occasions I was getting sucked and they were like hey what are these bumps? One of the girls was my ex and she was like looking like what the hell, I just said its a reaction to cum, like an allergic reaction to cum, and was fine ever since.
So yeah

I suppose Im lucky, mine a barely visable, compared to that wikipedia picture. But I was worried about what they are, and the appearence. Apprently they start to fade as you get older, and start to grow more hair, well thats what someone told me. But im glad I found this article :-)
Thank you to the person who posted that wikipedia article! I have those same spots, except I've also got them along the centerline of my top lip. It's good to finally know it's not an STD, which I've been sweating over for years. Sucks that it's permanent-ish, but hell, it's still not an STD. :-)
hi guys when i was in the shower a couple of yeras ago i noticed bumbs on the underside of by penis and sack the get relly ichiy and some of them have hair growing derectly from them i know for a fact it is not a STD but i would halp a lot if some one could tell me if it is normal ?
hey there everyone i have had these also for awhile. i am uncircumsized and i have some white bumbs all around the head of my head of my penis also. are those the same things? i am a virgin so i have not even had sex or anything yet. just wondering thanks.
hey, i also have these white spots/papules on my scrotom (scattered with hair coming from them), on the underside of my foreskin (once again many scattered in no particular order), on the head of my penis (again randomly scattered) and also on both lips. they are harmless, but god they are annoying. I'm a virgin and if anyone knows a way of getting rid of them, or at least reducing their appearance please reply
thank you
(guest before me, they are harmless and there isn't much to worry about, unless you're like me and alot of other people and just want them to dissapear)

i'm 27 and I noticed these small little white bumps on the shaft of my penis maybe 6-8 months ago, just recently they are starting to show on the head of my penis(the glan I guess) is this normal? Also on the bottom of my shaft it just looks there are so many that they just started to connect with each other (causes a slight discoloration because there are so many)
wow what a relief. I'm 21 and have had these symptoms for almost 6 years. I figured they were clogged pores but I was never sure. I've had sex once when I was 16 right before it started happening, ever since I havnt had any sexual experiences. It's pretty much ruined the last 6 years of my life, I keep fearing that a girl will think its herpes and tell all everyone. I havnt told anyone about this and its set me in major depression. Never had the balls to go to a doctor or anything. I promised myself i'm going to get help now though, I'm sick of this sh*t, need to stop wasting my life over something so stupid.
Thx for everyone that posted.

im 16 and have the same bumps on my balls and penis, over the past year or 2 i noticed they are becoming more noticeable and frequent, these posts really helped and just to let everyone know out of about ten sexual partners none have noticed, but if one does just tell them what it really is its no biggie ............its all in your head go about as if you dont have these little white friends ahah
i too have this same problem, on the penis and the lips. im glad to kno that its not contagous but sucks that they will be there until the day i die. but i did read somewhere that you can get a lazer procedure done to remove them, but thats probably like $1000 or some sh*t... idk im just glad its not herpes! :-D
im 18 had them for like 5 yrs, i did some research awile back nd i found some people that said they used items like toothpaste to dry the skin nd cuase it to peel makin them dissapear with the skin ,they also said could leave some scarring, or u can have them surgically removed with some scarring to(removed by laser surgery), i havent tried the toothpaste method yet, becuase im sexually active nd thought the bumps would look better then my skin peelin off, but i don't have plans for then next month and decided ill just hold off on hookin up with any girls durin this time, so im goin to try a small patch at first see how it works nd i guess use some neosporin to prevent as much scarrin as possible, so check back in about 2 weeks (this is roughly how long they said it takes) nd ill let u no the results.
