There was a blurb about these "choats" in Reader's Digest. They are a real thing. They are a build up of food in your throat. Not to be disgusting, but they smell like plaque on your teeth, and if you scrape your teeth in the morning you will see/smell, same thing, food. Yuk! I thought I was crazy because my family does not get these.
