I am 38 months into the hell of MN in both feet. Ive had 3 dozen or so injections of cortizone and been through about 11 rounds of alcohol injections ot kill the nerve with zero success. Two years ago I had tarsal tunnel surgery in the right ankle and ity helped the big toe pain a quite a bit but then the MN really kicked in. I AM going to get the surgery as soon as I can get it scheduled but results seem to vary widely.
For those that have had the surgery over a year ago....
How are you doing today?
What has the doctor shared iwth you why your surgery worked?
What has the doctor shared with you why the surgery did not work?
I need to feel better soon before I remove my head from my neck (won't but there are days I wish it were my last on earth it hurts so much) but so afraid to have surgery that may make things even worse than they are now.
Thanks
David
