Supra-ventricular Tachycardia: look this up this is what it is, your heart rate goes out of control all due to the electrical part of your heart. It can happen at any time any where mine starts at 180 BPM and has been up to 227 BPM It can happen at any age young children to older adults....Triggers are caffeine, alcohol, hot showers, cold water, stress, lack of sleep ect.....
Who knows, maybe I might have been working on a personal project towards a hobby continuously for a week and that may have led to stress over time. If so, I think I need to lighten my work and do a little tiny bit at a time, but not daily.
Im 19 & im having this thing starting 2months ago.. When my heart beat fast i just want to lie down... but i can't when i lie it so fassst.. :( i cant help myself.. i went to docter but when i go to c docter my heart beat is just normal .. n also when its being fast i feel pain...

Since you don't do any drugs... Sexual or excessive sexually activities can increase your heart rate at a resting rate. Personal experience trust me. Includes alone or with a partner. Minimize to 3 times a week. or less. Less is better.
do u know what the best part my fast heart beat gone urs will be gone too soon dont worry just ignore it as much as u can simply when it comes to ur mind just say so what

hi, i am only 22 years old i get fast heart beat sometimes even i am relaxed. is it normal? i need an answer please.
thanking you.
HEMMAT
Its not normal but its not something alarming. unless your heart speeds up like over 150 beats i wouldn't be too concerned. Are you over weight? Do you smoke, drink alcohol, do drugs? Drink caffeine? Eat a lot of chocolate? Those things can cause a higher heart rate. I have had this problem for 3 years now and doctors put me on metoprolol to slow it down but it doesn't really work. Basically mine gets fast when I eat and for hours after. I have learned to control it to an extent, but sometimes it does give me a fit. Mine has never went over 140 and that only happened one time. Next time it beats fast, splash ice cold water in your face several times and then sit down, hold your breath and push like you are going to poop, you should feel it slow down after that. If I was you i would still see a cardiologist to make sure its nothing bad. If everything comes back good then I'd try those things I mentioned above. Try not to stress over it and ignore it best as you can. Good luck
Im 21 years old, when I was 15 I went to the doc. as well got all kinds of test ekgs,blood,X-rays went to the best hospital for kids my doc said it was normal with the time it will go away, but last year October 2012 I felt my heart beating fast for no reason then I just didn't put to much attention. now this year yesterday mach 2013 I was eating when my hear stared beating fast so I call some doctor that I heard on the radio I asked him about my condition he said to eat healthy no sodas any kind no red meat just turkey or chicken vegetables fruits no fast food no corn tortillas just wheat bread or to tillas etc and sleep more and exercise everyday dont take energy drink and coffee or stuffs that contained caffeine.... drink soy milk no cheese use olive oil when cooking. so I'm trying everything and I believe it's works I have heard from other people you'll should try this to guys...

I am hypothyroid and have tachycardia once or twice a month. It doesn't last very long, sometimes just after going to bed when trying to get off to sleep, and sometimes it seems to be linked with a need to empty my bowels. However, I do find that the symptoms subside quite quickly after sipping water. As I am taking thyroxine the tachycardia may or may not be a side effect, but it's quite alarming.
