Hi Guys,
I am running a half marathon on saturday and havent managed to do as much training as I would have liked over the past few weeks! My half marathon schedule went out of the window when i changed jobs and I have barely managed to get outside for more than a casual job over the past week or two. I went out last night for a fast 10k to try and get some speed into my legs before the weekend but i think I may have had the opposite effect as I am sore and hurting as if I had just been to the gym. So here is my question, should I invest in a pair of compression tights to help speed up my recovery before the half marathon or is it too late to do anything now?
Thanks in advance.
..probably a bit late to help you with a reply but for future readers here goes...
I am a culprit for running large distances with next to no training and i do it over and over again...my last half marathon I invested in a pair of Triathlon Skins....they were a bit more giving but still helped because the lactic acid didnt kick in as fast and i was able to run longer without my legs burning...
i'd say they will help but if u can training is still the best
