Did you intentionally take yourself off the patch? If you have been having unprotected sex, you are setting yourself up for pregnancy.

it took me a long time after, the patch to have my period back to normal.
My daughter stopped using the patch due to some nasty side affects as well. She didn't see a period for 12 days after it was supposed to start.
The cramping your having just may be your period trying to get started.
If it doesn't come on maybe a week or so after it's supposed to, i would take an HPT.
