Yea dude - what you get is what you got. It will never change in size. BUT - being thinner will absolutely make it APPEAR larger, and you will be healthier - so go for it!
The other day, Dr. Oz answered that question by saying if you lose 35 lbs. you will gain an inch or it might have been 2", I don't remember for sure.
