I noticed a lump, as described, in this spot about two days ago. The lump got sore when I'd mess with it, much like when you play with a zit on your face or somewhere else on your body. I don't know what this could have been, but I popped it and it didn't hurt too much. (Felt like popping a zit.. only in a more intimate area..) This is the first time I've noticed something like this. Am I going to be okay? Am I at risk for such "pimples" in the future? What can I do to prevent them?
I must mention that it did NOT look anything like the Herpes Virus. STDs are not a concern, as I have not been sexually active since last cleared by my gynecologist. (:

I have gotten this all the time since I was 13 years old -I am now 46! It is caused by an allergy to the LATEX found in pads and tampons which is in ALL OF THEM unless you specifically purchase ones WITHOUT LATEX online and those are EXPENSIVE!
