15 year old pain near belly button

hi all

Please can you tell me if anyone has had a diagnosis with the belly pain?

My daughter is 15 years old and is having the symptoms that everyone has mentioned,its totally wiping her out.

Yesterday she weny so dizzy she callapsed on the stairs, i ended up taking her to hospital. Lots of tests are being done, they are all coming back normal.

She has had a small problem with low blood pressure and a her liver keeps going up but seems to have gone back to normal now.

She has had the pain for a few months now, its getting worse, more than once she has been screaming and doubled up, nothing seems to help. She has fevers, and feeling cold-shivering, headache, earache.

The pain she has is just above her belly button, its horrendous when shes asking for help and saying she cant cope with it anymore.

We are going to see a gyno specialist next week hopefully he can help, as all we keep getting from the other docs is it maybe psychological, which i dont think is the cause.

If anyone can give me some advice please i would really appreciate it, thank you x

I deal with this too, and I'm 17. It doesn't happen all the time, but it has for years. Different positions seem to make it hurt more or less, but it feels like a pulling of the belly button from the inside. If I stretch my torso it feels like it's being untied from the pulling. I have no idea what causes it. And I'd feel like a loon talking to my doctor.

See a gastro specialist and inquire about functional abdominal syndrome!

My daughter is the same way. She can wake in the of night crying and sweating and doubled over. We have tried everything too. They tell me too it's constipation. We also do as much organic as we can afford because they has kept them from happening as frequently. I'm not sure if it ever goes away completely for her. After years of it happening if she doesn't feel like complete c**p it's a good day. Let me know if you ever find anything else out and I'll do the same for you.

My son also face this type of problem from last five years. I feel helpless, no doctor can solve this problem. We did ct scan, barium xray, normal x-ray, sonography, blood test, stool test but all report was negative no doctor can diagnose his problem. - Pankaj from India.
