Hi there, I'm 15 almost 16 years old. I have some important questions. Today I've been having diarrhea. I've had it about 15-20 times since 6:00 this evening. I'm very gassy and bloated. I'm late on my period almost two months. And I've been farting a lot today. I'm very tired all the time. I'm on birth control (the pill). I've been kind of nauseous. And I took a pregnancy test today and a few weeks ago and they both came up negative. But a few days after the first negative test which was weeks ago, I had or I think I had a miscarriage. I don't know for sure because of how small it was. It was about the size of a quarter. But I'm very hungry. No matter what I eat or how much I eat, my stomach still growls of hunger. And like I said I'm always tired no matter how much sleep I get. I'm irritable. I haven't had any cramping or spotting like I usually do. Usually my period is right on time every month! Not the past two. My lower back hurts. My breasts are tender to the touch. I have aches and pains all through my body. I get headaches every day. And I've urinated about 20 times today if not more. I'm also thirsty a lot. I'm also on anxiety medicine since I've been having anxiety since I was 5 years old. Which is called celexa and that's pretty much like another birth control. But I believe I'm really fertile so I'm not sure what's going on. And I'm kinda scared on if I am pregnant then what could happen or be wrong with the baby. So if there's anyone out there that knows anything about this then please help me! I'm really stressing on this! Thank you! (:
If you think you may have miscarried, you need to see a doctor/gyno. However, it may not be that at all, particularly as you have negative pregnancy test results.
- What things have you inserted in your vagina?
- What BC pill are you on?
- Why do you say celexa is "pretty much like another birth control"
- Why do you say "I believe I'm really fertile"
Taking Celexa during pregnancy may cause serious lung problems in the baby. You should tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant (or think you might be) while taking Celexa. But you must not stop (or start) taking Celexa during pregnancy without your doctor's advice. If you stop taking your antidepressant, you may have a relapse of depression.
There are various gastrointestinal side effects of Celexa, including diarrhea and flatulence ("Today I've been having diarrhea" & "I've been farting a lot today") as well as fatigue.
