I have the same problem, I'm not able to talk to my mum about it and suspect I have a build up of smegma... I really don't want to get circumsised, what are the 'stretching excersises' because i would so much rather go down that route. I am a bit squeemish and don't really know what to do. When I'm in the shower I can't wash inside so god knows what it's like in there and have never really really tried to get the foreskin over and whenever I've got close it burns and the skin becomes thinner and I am not sure what the hell I am meant to do, my problem is that the related articles on this subject tend to be elder people who have left it too late and I was hoping that someone could explain the techniques and then I could start now, I have just turned 14 last week. Thanks for you're help.
I'm 18 and have been able to pull my foreskin down all the way since I was 12. Key factors in my success are probably:
1. Moisture in the skin ( i.e. hot showers that could last up to two hours -pruny skin is a good thing ;), also I swam a lot (I live in florida, so that is a cultural thing)
2. Lots of masturbation, especially in the shower. I can not stress it enough about the moisture of the skin. Dry skin doesn't stretch easily.
note: the difference in color on the tip is actually a film some sort. I have it too, and some of it stuck to the inside of my foreskin instead of tue head when I pulled mine back. It will not wash away over time with any type of safe cleaning agent for the body and im not fond of using strong chemicals on my penis (I've even tried alchohol based cleaners such rubbing alcohol, chlorine from swimming, and listerine to no success) so until I conduct more research on it just assume it is a permanent feature of your manhood.
Hi I'm 15 and have the same problem
What is the fastest result for your fore skin to stretch
hi medic - dan m 27 years of age nw n m also facing d same problem...can i over come by dis problem???
Hey Lucifer,This is known as your frenulm i believe, and it is never supposed to become dettached from the head of your penis. It joins the helm and the foreskin and is found within everyone.
When you masturbate the skin is not supposed to stay pulled back, that is on in circumsised men (where they have no foreskin, and therefore the helm is always shown)
Hope this Helped :P
Hey guys, So I am 21 and have a similar issue as Steady. I masturbate rather regularly, but when erect the foreskin does not retract very far and there can be tightness when trying to pull it back. When not erect I can reveal the entire head and there is no pain. I wasn't particularly worried until recently when I had sex for the first time and the girl started giving me a hand job and it was uncomfortable so I had to tell her to "take it easy" as it didn't go down all the way.
I'm afraid of in future circumstances having it rip or tear, so after reading this I'm going to try these stretching exercises, though I realize no one's really answered any of the questions for those of us who are a little older (not 14 -18 years old). Any insight is appreciated. I've recently started stretching (while being gentile as I can) and I think I might notice some progress already.
I'm glad I found this forum, I never knew that the foreskin was supposed to be stretched, so I just hope my age isn't too serious a factor and that this "private" matter can be resolved.
hello
I'm 14 and i have read your instructions. but as I pulled the foreskin about 1/3 down, I noticed a little bit of skin that was connecting my foreskin to the head. Is this a sign of Phimosis or have I not fully gone though puberty.
Its the phimosis, completely natural no need to worry about it. Here's a link that should help clear up people's questions.

Blockvil,
Look up "Frenulum" - Google it. There is a piece of skin that attaches the foreskin to the glans. Even if circumcised you may still have it.
It is normal.
Hi Steadyiron:
Do not worry!
It is not absolutely necessary to have a foreskin that will retract. Some men live their entire lives with a non-retractable foreskin. They can masturbate, have penetrative sex, get married, and father children with a foreskin that does not retract. Some believe that a penis with a non-retractile foreskin has more sensation and that sex is better. However there is no scientific evidence one-way or the other.
It depends on just how tight your foreskin is. If it is really narrow and absolutely won't retract, then you can have penetrative sex without pain. On the other hand, if it just a little bit tight, then it is likely to be forced back during sex and that will hurt because it is tight.
Almost all boys are born with a foreskin that does not retract. This is normal. It takes years for the ability to retract to develop. About ½ of boys have a retractable foreskin by 10.4 years of age. Many adolescents still have foreskins that have tips that are too narrow to pass back over the penis head. These foreskins may be gently stretched over a period of time to cause them to widen.
It is normal for teens to have a foreskin that does not retract. One’s foreskin is still developing. One can help it develop by stretching it.
When your penis is erect, gently pull your foreskin back against the head of the penis. As the head attempts to pass through the foreskin it will stretch the skin a little. Do this every day and in a few weeks or months your foreskin will widen and you will be able to retract your foreskin. Do NOT force retraction. Do NOT cause yourself pain.
It works by tissue expansion. Stretching skin induces “mitosis” which is a word that means “division of cells”. New skin cells are formed and the skin expands but it takes some time. The increase in size is permanent. Be patient and give mitosis time to work.
The important thing is to put the skin under tension every day so that it will grow wider.
It is never necessary to be circumcised. Non-retractile foreskin is not a reason to get a circumcision. Circumcision is a very destructive, damaging, and harmful operation. Furthermore, it is an ELECTIVE operation that in only done with the consent of the patient.
Hi Steadyiron:
Men with totally non-retractable foreskin CAN have sex.
It is possible that you have a lingering fusion on the right side.
You can lift your foreskin away from the glans with hydraulic pressure.
Do this while nude in the shower.
1. Pinch the tip of your foreskin shut with your fingers.
2. Urinate while holding your foreskin shut.
3. The urine will collect in the foreskin and cause it to balloon outward.
4. Any part that does not baloon outward has a fusion. The ballooning should eventually break the fusion.
It is really easy to painlessly clean out your foreskin without retracting it. Here are two ways:
1. Urine is a sterile substance when it leaves the body so it is an excellent washing agent. Pinch the tip of your foreskin shut when you pee. Let the urine fill up your foreskin. You will see your foreskin balloon because of the urine inside. Then release the tip and all of the urine inside your foreskin will come gushing out and clean out whatever is inside. This is best done in the shower as it tends to be messy.
or
2. Get a rubber bulb ear syringe from a drug store, pharmacy, or chemist’s shop. These are designed to squirt warm water into ear canals to clean them out. They also work great for cleaning out foreskins. Fill the ear syringe with warm (not hot) water and then insert the tip of the syringe into your foreskin. Then squeeze the bulb and a jet of warm water will squirt into your foreskin and clean out whatever is inside.
Don’t use soap inside your foreskin because soap dries out the skin oils essential for good health.
