I recently was forced in to having an Abortion by my mother and influenced by my boy friend , I had the surgical abortion at the beginning of February. I healed pretty quickly and started having sex with my boy friend again about a week and half after first it was protected and then we began to have unprotected sex after that. After the abortion I felt all the symptoms of pregnancy go away for about a week or two, then they came back. I took a test about a month after the abortion and I was pregnant, and I felt pregnant as well all the signs had come back. I was back on birth control so I was expecting my period and I missed my period, its been two weeks since I was supposed to have my period I have all the symptoms fatigue,extreme hunger and cravings,lots of gas,cramps,nausea,dizziness,tender nipples,headaches,missed period,aches in pelvic area. etc.
I went to the doctors had a pee test- negative and did a blood test that was inconclusive then another bloodtest and it was negative...
Could I still be pregnant? I'm sure I am despite all the negatives . Thanks so much for your help !!!

You probably had a positive pregnancy test because you still had the hgc hormone levels in your body. It can linger around about a month after pregnancy.. Try to get on some form of birth control because every abortion you will have will make it harder to have a baby to term. It complicates the cervix. Good luck to you!!!!!
it's not true that haven't an abortion will cause difficulty having following pregnancies later on. This is also not the case with miscarriages. It does not complicate the cervix (what do you think happens to women that go through childbirth?)
I unfortunately am having problems ..I had a procedure done the end of may 2011 ..and up untill 3 weeks ago had not rcvd my period ..the dr. checked me and found that my cervix was closed due to inflamation he said ..he supposedly opened it which was very painful , cramping and pinching ..he advised me to finish my pack of pills and I should get my period ..I still have not rcvd my period just major cramping like it's coming on but it never does ..So I haven't had a period in 4 mnths and will be calling him again 2morrow cuz i don't know what to do now
