Kids in many ways are very interesting but they don't now things and that is why they act this way. They don't know if they should touch something or not, should they trow something or not. It is important to keep an eye on them all the time.

This is totally true. I don't understand parents who don't keep a close eye on their kids. That's usually the moment that kids get hurt or into trouble.

i agree kids are wild,they put every thing what they get in their tiny mouths which is very dangerous coz you cannot make them understand dat its not edible!!! when you look at the statistics you will find most of the accident that occur,occur in kitchens and the victims are mostly under 5 kids coz of burns and scalds.. i did a research project in kitchen accidents and surprisingly found that most of the women inspite of being aware do unsafe kitchen practices,puting their children at risk!!!

Kitchen is very dangerous for children. There is so many stuff that can hurt them, so if you ask me, it is important to tell a child that it can not go in to the kitchen. I understand that this is hard to do, but it is important to try to keep a child from kitchen as much as possible.

ya,even one should take care about the dining table,where you can get knife,hot containers etc..
my researc was on assesing the awareness regarding safe kitchen practices,we did a randomised follow up stdy in 50 houses..we prepare questionairs mcq type which were given to subject,marks were given then after an eductional intervention,the wr assessed again...then we ploted graphs of each question how many gave rt and how many wrong like that!
we found tht most of the kitchens do not have first aid or fire extinguisher,not wearing apron was 2nd on list..
many families even after knowing all these things practice wrong that was dissapointing..

Oh you are totally right. When I have little ones over, I keep them in one room and don't let them go explore. My house is far from kid proof and I can't have them run all over! The kitchen alone would hurt a kid a thousand times over...!

may be dat puppy was of chihoahoa breed,they are realy small..or may be the pipe was big!
Well I don't really remember how small was the puppy, but they can be really small. If I can remember correctly they haven't mentioned breed of the puppy.

It could have been a pug like the one that's my avatar. Baby pugs are tiny, about the size of what you'd normally put in a toilet anyway. Golden retriever puppies are almost twice as large as them :)

I have to jump in and say that i absolutely LOVE pugs. I went with a wolf for my avatar because I really like them but if I could have a pet, I would have a pug. They're the most adorable pets. And I don't know why!
