This very much helped. Last 4 nights my 7yr old daughter was up complaining she was hurting in vagina area. Had to take her home from school yesterday as she was complaining her stomach hurt. Seen your post and figure to check tonight. Found some tiny white worms coming out. I waited a few hrs and checked again and got another one stuck to scotch tape to show the doctor! Very helpful thank you! I would have never guessed to check for this!

Vulvovaginitis is inflammation or irritation of the vagina and vulva (the opening of the vagina).
Mild vulvovaginitis is a very common problem in young girls. It will affect most girls at some stage. Some girls will have vulvovaginitis many times. As girls begin to develop breasts, their vuvlovaginitis usually gets better.

My 5 year old has been suffering from pain in her vg part and it only happens at night, druing the day she's fine play and running no problems down there so i haven taken her to be seen by her pcp n all the test that he has done are all clean so i thought it might be a UTI or yeast infection but she know have none of that idk what is causing her this much pain. Is not every night sometimes it happens 2-3 nights of weeks n sometimes she can go about 2 weeks without any pain. So as i couldn't take it anymore cause idk what to do no medcine is taking her pain alway so the only thing that works great with my daughter when she is in this pain is that even if is 2 or 3 in the morning i fill up the bathtub with warm water and i let her set for 15 min until her pain/burning goes alway then she goes back to sleep with mo pain at all until it comes back another night. I don't know what is causing my daughter this pain but i just hope that if you guys are going thru this like me fill the bathtub with warm water and let them soak for 15 min til the pain passes hope this works for you guys is the only thing working for my baby girl.

My daughter has been having severe sharp pain in her vagina. Where she gets to she can't do certain activities because it makes it worse. But have you tried giving her asprin or any other medication to help to see if it would soothe the pain any?

Hi! It's so sad to hear about these vaginal issues our babies are experiencing. I'm not sure whether you've found a solution or not, but I found this U.K. Blog to be very helpful, though. Most of their children had the same exact symptoms. The result was typically found to be worms! My four year old has spasms during the day and they are usually triggered by stress, so unfortunately I'm still searching for an actual diagnosis. Best wishes to you!

"Masterbation" is not a word.
All kids play with themselves.
You are a fool.

Hi my daughter got this yrs ago round age 6 and only ever at night she would wake with what seemed like a terrible pain down below and hold herself, the pains seemed to come in waves she would be ok a while then maybe ten mins later she had very strong pain again this would normally settle within the hour I always gave some paracetamol to ease the pain. I took her to a pediatrician and after scan And examining her tummy he said she was very backed up with constipation so put her on movical. This helped and for yrs never seen the pains again maybe just once or twice where I focuses on getting more fruit in her diet kiwis are great.
