We rushed my 70 yr old father to the emergency room 5 days ago for severe pain and bloating. They diagnosed him with a highly infected, extremely enlarged gall bladder. My father has alot of health issues besides and they desided to insert a drainage tube and put him on anti biotics before they take it out.
We brought hin home from the hospital 2 days ago and now it seems his drainage bag has some blood in it. Also when he urinates, his urine is orange (possibly blood?).
Has anyone had this issue? Is the blood from the insertion of the tube and dyes they injected from the all of the test?
We are wondering if we should notify the doctor or wait to see if the blood quits?
Thanks in advance.
Most certainly notify the doctor. Do not wait. Better safe than sorry.
