My sister and I have vasovagel syncope and it is like the descriptions ppl are giving. We had a Cardiologist who performed a TILT TABLE TEST on each of us in order to be diagnosed. I can usually control it by getting enough sleep/rest, eating regularly & drinking enough fluids but I also had to add salt to my diet in order to raise my blood pressure (see a healthcare pro for diagnosis before adding/changing anything). Hope this helps!

I have similar problems except for nausea. Check if it's the vagus Orr fatal nerves.

I have severe abdominal pain, lightheadedness, and always feel like I'm going to vomit. But I never vomit. And I am 14 years old. And I really don't kniw what's wrong with me. And it's freaking me out. Like I can't put anything cold, hot, or warm on my stomach because the pain will worsen. And like I can barely walk without feeling like I'm going to faint. And this has been going on for 3 months. And I told my mom & she said she will try to schedule me a doctor's appointment. But she couldn't because of my dad's insurance. I feel like this pain is killing ne. And I can barely sleep without bekng in pain. And it's freaking me out & i don't know what to do. I'm scared for my life. Somebody please help me or at least try to explain what might be going on with me.

I've had these episodes once every couple of months about 4x a year but only right when I start my menstrual cycle. Same thing it lasts about 45min-1hr and I feel very tired the rest of the day. Started when I was 14. When it happens I have immense abdominal/lower back pain, my head hurts like I'm going to pass out but I don't, I feel like I can't breathe but I can, I vomited once when I tried to take an aspirin, my stomache feels like it has uncontrollable cramps rolling/rumbling through it, I can barely walk or talk, I feel like if I use the energy to talk I'll pass out, I get hot and cold sweats and I have to stay next to the tub because its cold. Does anyone know why this is connected to the menstrual cycle for many women, but not every cycle?

I believe you are right-i asked my doctor about it and was told it's a vasovagial response. Apparently not a big deal!

I thought I was going to die last night. The pain was so intense and I lay on the floor for a couple of hours. The cold sweats, I couldn't stand up had the feeling of needing to use the bathroom (couldn't) felt like maybe I was going to throw up (didn't). Then when I was able to get in bed I had very cold chills. I have had these attacks for over 20 years but very, very seldom. My doctor has no idea what is wrong. What really helps me is charcoal pills. I could not get to the bottle because I was too dizzy and my husband is 78 yrs old and ill. He couldn't even hear me crying for help. Someone at a health food store told me they would help. Yes, it takes about 20 minutes but the DO HELP!! I take 2 and stay still and in about 20 to 30 minutes I feel much better.

I am a 20 year old girl and I have been having these attacks for at least 8 years. I will go to sleep and everything will be fine. But the lower stomache cramps I get will shoot me awake from a dead sleep. I know when my stomachs just hurts or when I'm going to get an attack. The pain is undescribeable. It happened to me less than an hour ago. The cramps wake me up. I get this horrible feeling that I need to go to the bathroom. I will have diarrhea that just feels like it's falling out of me. And as soon as the diarrhea happens, then the stomach pains get worse, and I get cold sweats, goosebumps, and really dizzy. I have to just put my head down because I get too weak to even hold it up. I feel like I'm going to pass out every time. I become hardly responsive. I have wanted to call 911 so many times but I don't because I know they're not going to do anything. I haven't fainted from it yet but sometimes I wish I would so I wouldn't have this horrible experience. I've been thinking I'm crazy over here because when I explain it to people they just look at me weird. Whenever I feel like I don't need to go to the bathroom, I will go back to lay down but I'm so weak that its almost impossible to get into bed. If my fan is on, forget about it. I have to cover myself completely with my blanket and I just shake. Usually I'll have to get up and go through this process a few more times, and then after about 4 times I'll go back to sleep and it won't happen for another 6 months. The most times in a year its ever happened is 4. It is the most awful feeling. I don't know if anyones attacks are exactly like mine but I've read a few that are pretty similar. I always monitor my food and it has never happened from me eating the same food as the time before. I would love to know what it is, and doctors/hospital never seem to help with ANYTHING. I will usually just wake my boyfriend up to come to the bathroom with me in case I do finally pass out. I have, only one time, thrown up on myself during this process because I got really nauseous too and there really is nothing you can do. I was so weak I couldn't even move my head allittle to avoid puking on myself. I am just so over this. Anyone with symptoms just like mine? HELP ME

I've experienced the same thing and was diagnosed with cardio neurogenic syncope.  The attached article is a great read.  http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1768202/
