Hello. I'm 23 year old female and just recently I started to suffer from some strange and numb abdominal pains.
First, it was occurring maybe once in a week but these last couple of days, it has become almost constant thing.
I've talked with my mother and she told me that I'm probably overreacting and that it is probably due to some normal menstrual pain that every girl feels from time to time. But I know to recognize menstrual problem- and this isn’t the one.
Please tell me, how I could be sure what is causing me these problems!

Well, I would really like to help you but I can't see how this could be possible. You have mentioned only little information and almost none about character of your pain.
Is your stomach very tender to touch? If it is and plus- you have high body temperature then- it could be that you have developed some serious inflammation in your abdomen such as appendicitis, infectious diarrhea, bleeding from the bowels, perforated appendix, diverticula’s or ulcer.
Contact your gastrologist immediately in this case. If your pain is present on the upper right part of your abdomen problem could be related to your gallstone. Anyway, contact doctor as soon as you can to be sure!
