I'm 18 and recently I wet the bed, I woke up halfway through but even once I realized what was happening the muscles normally used to stop the flow or urine had zero effect, even when i stood up. I havent wet the bed since I was 6 and am slightly concerned. I recently switched birth control, but no birth controls have bedwetting listed as a side effect. Any other ideas?
I know this sounds like a stupid question but are you SURE it was ALL urine?
IF you are, adult incontinence is VERY common! - thus the thousands of products out there! The best thing to do is to go to your doctor and have him/her send you to a Vaginal physiotherapist! They can give you the techniques even tools to be able to do Kiegle exercises effectively! While you are waiting for an appointment, when you are on the toilet try to stop your urinatation, hold for 5 seconds, let go a little, then repeat till bladder is empty! Also another thing is to urinate before bed - dont drink anything after 6pm - then still sit on the toiet it usually takes another 2 minutes then you will be able to void some more urine! This completely gets rid of the urine in your bladder! IF you have accidents at night - once in awhile - there isn't much that can be done! BUT if you do those exercises and IF it happens again at least you can stop them! Good luck and health! And just know it is VERY common1

this just happened to me too and I’m hoping it has to do something with hormones because I have skipped 2 days of birth control but I’m worried because I am also 18 and I have never wet a bed endore
