Hi. My skin has changed somehow. It looks dry and I have acne all over my face. My back hurts and sometimes I sweat and shake for no reason. I can`t sleep. Could that be a sign of cancer? My friends keep telling I am hypochondriac. I think I am not, but I have these symptoms and I fear I have cancer or something. The test results were fine, but you can never believe your doctor. Am I hypochondriac?
Hi. I think you are hypochondriac, or you have some other health problem. Acne, dry skin, pain in the back and sleeping problems are not symptoms of cancer man. Your test results were fine, isn`t that good enough for you? Ask for a second opinion if you don`t trust your doctor. Doctors have no reason to lie. They can make a mistake, but you don`t have a cancer for sure. Anyway, hypochondria is a belief your symptoms are signs of some serious disease, despite the facts, such as your test results. The disorder is generally chronic. A supportive relationship with your family, friends, and a health care provider is really helpful.
