I have the same thing only my lump is on the index finger- like at the joint.  About the size of a bee-bee. It doesnt hurt or seem to effect the joint. Its not a wart - its a hard knot like thing under the skin.  My sweetheart has a larger one on one of his toes, at the joint and they came about the same time. His is larger than mine but feels the same & doesnt hurt him either. I wonder if it has to do with taking too much of a supplement, like D-3, calcium, or something like that because it has to be related to what we eat/drink to have the same thing appear at the same time just one on finger and one on the toe.  I cant find anything on internet yet but would appreciate what others reply.

they arent warts. ive had warts before and what were talking about is completely different. its under the skin, its a nodule. round and smooth with no breaking of the skin, its not painful.. only slight pain when i push on it but thats probably from nerves around it or veins. i noticed one on my right hand middle finger two days ago after i smacked it off of the edge of my sink really hard. and another one on my other middle finger tonight, but this ones bigger and a little red. i was pretty freaked out until i read all these posts.. still. im going to tell my doctor about it.

Uh, 16 and have a bunch of strange bumps on my finger. In 10 minutes, the dark spot/bubble things have increases from 2 to well over five. The area around them is turning white, yellow, and hurt. It is appearing in a circle. It's not a blister or wart.

Are you simply wrapping the finger in raw bacon? For how long?

My 7 year old son has just what you explained. But he has three on one hand and two on the other at the inside base of his fingers. Did you ever find out what was the cause?

It is a wart. You can go to the skin clinic to freeze it with liquid nitrogen, and it will eventually fall off.

I had the hard lump under the skin. My dad told me he had the same thing when younger and to take a vitamin E capsule and to rub some of the oil on it. Within 4 weeks the hard lump had grown to the surface and just fell out one day when I was rubbing the oil on

It could be a reaction to the cooking oils or a chemical at work. Book a doctors appointment for a referal for allergy testing

Hellow I used to have the same problem few years ago all my finger had the same growth and it was devastating, I hated it,I felt different and was scared to show my hands to anyone cause I knew the look they had in the faces. I had so many and they were infectious cause when my mum helped me reduce the size I infected her with one . it was a nighmare waking up with such unusual finger but then a friend of my mum adviced that I should used the milky substance of a certain tree , at first I found it to be a ridiculous idea but to due to desperation I had. I tried it the tree is called (euphorbia milii) am sure you can find it somewhere in the plants shops . then I used to pluck the leaves and a apply the milky substance on my fingers after I had reduced the size of the growth with a blade almost everyday. trust me it will work with time .It was all over like a dream after visiting clinics and getting untreatable medicine . I thought I should share this to help someone out their .
