Anonymous is right. I have been on suboxone for a month now(16mgs) and decided to take a 100mg morphine(gray) 4 hrs. after my morning sub dose of 8 mgs. I did get high and I still am mainly because I have not done any strong opiates for over a month now(the high is definitely downgraded by the suboxone though). And my conclusion is that its a waste of time. Now I have to wait 24 hrs. or longer to resume my suboxone treatment and for what, a half assed high + all the planning and scheming to do it in the first place. Personally I am on suboxone to get clean, so I feel pretty stupid for what I did. If you are on a sub program like I am think about what your doing. If not do what you want, you'll end up where I am now or worse. Sorry to sound so dismal.

Im sick and tired of addicts relapsing. WTH? Do you really hate yourself that much? Why the hell would anyone try heroin in the first place? Just the name is scary.  We all have a demons to deal with.  The addict just take turns using codependent friends and family beating them up emotionally. Addiction is a SELFISH disease, but you can control it.  Just like the overeater who needs to eat food to survive but has to make wise choices to loose the weight.  You can view an obese person and think how out of control and pathetic they look.  Same as an out of control pathetic drug user.  The general population needs to educate themselves knowing that addicts are takers, steal, lie and only contact you when they need something so they can score.  Relapse is part of recovery but mean while addicts take everyone else down with them emotionally and finically. So here we are on a site with addicts trying to get away with taking suboxone while shooting up. Thats pathetic.

Alright so i've been using roxicodone for about 6-9 months now daily. Usually taking about 1-3 30mg pills a day. I have tryed to stop but do get a little sick and feel some of the symptons of withdrawl. I do believe most of my addiction is mental though. I like to get high and have a good time, I couldn't believe I let myself fall into the situation I found myself in. Now this is just simple curiousity. I have no thought about relapsing after my hard work and dedication and much help from suboxone. I am one week clean of any form of drug besides nicotine. But say a couple weeks from now I decided to take an opiate such as oxicodone just for one day. Would I have to go through all the BS again? You don't have to give me a hard time about relapsing, I am very proud of myself of where I am at even though it's only been a short amount of time, but I have no intentions on using ever again. I was just curious because people i've talked to seem to think differently.

i agree somewhat, your right about the suboxone kicking all other opiates off the receptors and replacing them, which is why YOU WILL go into wd like symptoms if you take a sub before you are in wd from the other opiates. now with that being said you can take opiates after taking the sub with no ill effects except like you stated you wont get as high. ive shot up dope 6 hours after taking 4mg of sub and still felt decent cause the herion will find the receptors that the sub is not clinging to and fill them. i can also tell you that the initial shot or line may not get you that high but also like stated above the more opiates you do the more they will begin to replace the sub. ive actually found that when on subs hours before shooting up when i did shoot up it had a delayed effect like instead of the instant rush it took a couple seconds to kick. but for the record i dont recomend using dope or any other opiates if your fortunate enough to have access to suboxone as it fixed me and many other people i know and live with.

My experiences have been fine, actually just did it. Took four 8mg suboxene at around 2pm this afternoon because i was feeling pretty sick. a while later got the urge so i went out and scored. used the amount that i usually do to get a nice buzz and it worked just fine. i have a very nice buzz and body high, the rush was the same, and i'm already nodding a little bit. anyone who tells you that you will not get high because suboxen has opiate blockers in it is either an id**t or they've tried it and it hasn't worked...remember that everyone is different so you may try this same thing and not feel a thing....EVERYONES body is different so don't blame me if you don't get a buzzzz. anyways good luck and use clean stuff!!

I have never tried this but I heard that if you take dramamine (motion sickness medication) that you can still get high off of opiates while on suboxone.  I've shot up many times on suboxone and never got sick, however never really got high either.  Like someone mentioned before you get the immediate high but two minutes later you won't know that you even did a shot.  Pretty much a waste of money but for some reason I'm going to do it right now anyway.  If I try the dramamine scenario I will write back with results.

That's a myth. You can do heroin or other opiates while on suboxone with no worries. The only thing you should worry about is wasting your money because you won't get very high. Some people differ in how high they get. For me, I feel the immediate rush of the heroin, but ten minutes later I can't even tell that I've done any. But never have I went into withdrawal, nor have any of my friends and we have all done this many, many times, usually regretting it because it's really a waste of money.

Time to get off the merry go round.  Times a wasting.  Rehab, sober living, and work the 12 steps is an easier and healthier solution than trying to figure out how to use suboxone with your heroin.  BE DONE. Get on your knees and pray.  Get out of the way and let God give you the dignity to become the person you deserve to be.  We all have to fight for your happiness.  Being a junkie is no way to live life.  Stop listening to your Monkey Brain.

Suboxone is used to semi-treat withdrawls and to curb cravings. Trust me, just stick with with your subs for as long as the doc tells you and do your best to not use (hey, sh*t happens). If you really want to quit the subs will really help, by the time you are done (I believe the minimum is 6-8 months?) you will no longer have cravings. If suboxone doesnt curb your cravings tell your prescriber and they will most likely up your dose to help. I quit a year ago and tried it without meds at first which lasted 40 days before I turned around and ended right back where I had been. Suboxone completely changed things for me and when I was done with them my cravings/urges were gone and all it takes now is the FREE WILL to say no...you can do it brother, there are many before us and many will follow after that need OUR help to quit. Just believe my friend and you will achieve

First you need to find someone selling suboxone. If you have the resources to get heroin then this is usually not a hard task. They go for about 12 dollars a piece. If you are up to a gram of H a day the it will probably take 4 subs to take and gradually get off. Once you have the subs, break them up into 4's and take one every 12 hours. Wait until you start to go into with withdrawl from H. This is important. Take your first broken piece. You may find you need to take another piece a few hours later. You will find that all the symptoms of withdrawl go away. Upset stomach, chills, diarrhea, muscle pain. Wait for about 12 hours and take another broken off piece. Keep following taking pieces when you start feeling pain. by doing this you will eventually by day 4 not need anything. You will not feel any withdrawls and you can continue to work during the process because you never get sick.

Here the problem being an addict. Don't start taking the suboxone after the 4 days. You may not feel 100% but you will not even come close to being sick. You will just be back to being you and that is a tough part because you want to be high only you just will be normal.

Believe me, get out of the sickness expected. Only problem is you will think, Hey I found a way to get high and not have to suffer the consequences with your new found trick.

What I told you will get you out of using without the sickness but it is up to you to move on and never use again.

That is the physical part... the rest is up to you. But I just gave you info to endure and get past the horror of opiate withdrawl.

I wanted to add this. My initial post is to get you off H without the horrifying mental attack you will go through along with the physical withdraws.

That is just the first part of the solution of the mess you have created.

Once you get past this and you are able to put your head on a pillow and go to sleep (which is the biggest gift) you also will not have the crazy thoughts or dreams and if you do they will be mild.

I just realized you spend 500 bucks a day. Where I am that would be about 7 grams a day. You should be dead. Anyway Suboxone is still the route to go, its just you are going to have to learn the doses on your own to get you passed the sickness, but not high and taper off. Doctors could help but the addict is the best pharmacist out there. Main thing is not to take too many Subs. You will do this cause you are an addict but remember it there just to keep you off the verge of withdrawl sickness.

I keep adding to this string because I presented this and its coming out as a rough draft to your question and suggestions to everyone involved in this nightmare.

This info I have provided will get you past the devil but when you start feeling better the devil is going to come knocking. From there you need to seek professional help and I recommend Narcotics Anonymous.

As always getting past the devil of withdraw is the biggest hurdle. The second is for you to find something to do with your time to not use again. That part is all on you. At least from the info I have given you it gets you past the first part of fighting with the devil himself.

You will see. Follow what I have presented and dont get hooked on subs and use them to get back to normal. The rest is all about who you are!
