hi there, so im actually on day 6 of sub detox, then today i jus couldnt take it n i sniffed one bag of H. will this set me back in my sub withdrawal/detox or will i b ok the last 6 days have been the worst of my life....

the heroin is more intense "after suboxone" has worn off.. lots of OD's coz subs are not full agonist so your tolerence goes down.. .. P.S ive literally done a 1/4 oz while on suboxone , every hour another shot and like u said a rush then nothg .. till about 24-30 hrs later whn i did the last of the dope finally the rush lasted .. now i just take subs as a deterrent mind f**k is all it is..

Suboxone contains Naloxon, it's a tiny dose of narcan/nalaxom. And Naloxon is inactive /not absorbed, unless intravenously injected. What blocks the opiates from attaching to your brain receptors when taking Suboxone is the Bupreborphine . While there have been a few cases of ods being reversed by using Bupreborphine, Narcan has a no effect in Suboxone pills Here is a quote from medical journal : "Because of reports of misuse of buprenorphine by injection in other countries, the buprenorphine/naloxone combination was developed for the U.S. market. This combination was thought to decrease the potential for diversion and misuse of buprenorphine because, if injected, the naloxone should precipitate withdrawal in a patients already physically dependent on other opioids. Sublingually, naloxone has a relatively low bioavailability while buprenorphine has good sublingual bioavailability. Both have poor bioavailability through the GI tract. Taken sublingually, as directed, naloxone is clinically insignificant and has virtually no effect. (Except in rare cases of an allergic reaction or naloxone hypersensitivity.)"

So, I need some questions answered.. my boyfriend has been on subs supposedly for about 2 months he says he's been off the h, yesterday he took a small dose of suboxone & a few hours later when he came home I seen a puncture wound on his arm, he gave me a stupid story about how it got there but it's hard to believe him becuz he came home and his face was pale and he looked drowsy... so my question is, can u shoot up if you take a small dose of suboxone? He says shooting up while on subs will make u sick immediately but I've also heard differently like if u take it while shooting up it will jus prevent you from ODing. I need these questions answered because I have no experience with heroin or suboxone & although I love him dearly this addiction is taking alot out of both of us.. any answers would be appreciated

You can still shoot up if you are on suboxone. It does not prevent him form overdosing, it may put him at a greater risk because he would need more heroin to get high.

Is their anyway someone can pretend to put the suboxone under the tongue and not really take it? Trying to get my soouse clean and not going to well. He is a good job and is the only form of incomeand I dont know what to do, his addidtion is killing me physically i have ulcers and the money problems, stealing, and lieing iand amount of chances is wearing me out, without income we cre screwed, but he needs help and I am stuck in between a rock and a hard place? Any suggections? Desperate beyond beleif!
