I had mine out a week ago today. I feel like I've been shot with a arrow through my right side. Considering you do not have two gallbladder, I have no idea if this pain is post-op or if it related to it being lasered away from the liver. I just know laying down is miserable. Walking is miserable; and if I'm not careful so is sitting. I'm just wondering if anyone else is feeling the "gallbladder arrow"?

I had my gb removed on 2/29/16, exactly 2 weeks ago. I started a few days ago with pain on my side by the upper right rib, I feel like the muscle of my armpit is inflamed and like a squeeze in my shoulder blade, exactly the same type of pain I had before they removed my gb. My surgeon said that they have to cut through muscles to get to the gallbladder so i am experiences muscle spams. She said that it will also take weeks for the digestive system, specially the liver to figure that there is not a gb. I want to believe what she is telling me... I don't want to feel miserable again

Same problem and smart doctor did a blood test for H Pylori infection (which will cause peptic ulcer). That's what it was.

I had my gall blader removed in 2008, and two weeks after started suffering with severe back pain near mid back by the last rib on the left. The muscles even swell up, and turn red. I have had numerous MRI 's and Cat Scans, x rays , doctors visits. They see nothing, they say probably a nerve damaged during surgery. I take pain pills and pain patches. and wear back braces anything to help me get though the day. Feel find when I get up, then around 10:00 am it starts, until I fall asleep with sleep aids because of the pain. I hate this the pain controls my life, 8 years when nobody I stands.
Hope they find out one day, and you me and a bunch of people can get relief.
