i had gallbladder removed 2-23-2014. ever since i have had back pain as soon as i get out of bed-walk-shave-shower-any thing other than breathing makes me hurt in back-pain pills have no effect. it is not real bad but if i lie down pain goes away- i did mrcp-no trapped stones gi doctor said-truth is doctors and surgeons are crooks and scammers-they tell you how easy operation is just so you will remove gallbladder but dont ever tell you that they dont know whyn we hurt forever afterwards. theynshould be hanged on a tree for the vultures to eat-but then again they too are n vultures---money vultures. usa has sorriest doctors in the world.i have met several people from hispanic countries who had gallbladder removed and in 2 weeks were well-no back pains-no diarhea-no stones left in ducts-no cut bile ducts-no cut pancreases-no liver damage done to them--enough saqid-i hate our doctors.

Sounds like me...so you are saying that gallstones can be passed through your stool? If I drink 4 litres of water a day could I possibly be able to pass these gallstones. I only had the surgery 4 weeks ago & the pain I have in my lower right side front & back is horrible. Also it is starting in my left side now. It seems that my kidneys & bowels are shutting down. I am experiencing both diarrhea & constipation. The pain is taking my breathe away.. Been to emergency twice, have abnormal levels but Cat Scan & Xray cant see the stones so they keep sending me home when I cant hardly walk out the door in Mesa, Arizona. I see your post was in May..how are you feeling now? Some of the comments I am reading are very bad..it seems that this is normal for people to experience such severity of symptoms for a long time & it also seems that the professionals are not sure what is going on with it all...I can hardly take the pain for a day never mind 2 years!!! Let me know how you are feeling now...I hope it is good news for you...

when they removed your gall bladder, did they remove the connective nerves? If not your body is responding to the fact that there is a missing organ but the nerves are still functioning, causing a gripping "elastic band" type of feeling

Hi I am going threw the same thing. Had my gallbladder removed in 2011 and now have more pain than ever before. It feels like i'm being stabbed in my back just under my rib cage. Ive been seeing doctors for over a year now and have got no answer or no relief. This is crazy seeing how there seems to be so many cases of the same thing. where was your surgery done> Mine was at Memorial Hospital by Dr. Thompson.

OMG, I had my gallbladder removed 9 days ago, and Lilly99, I could have written what you just wrote!!! Also, my dr. thinks I am nuts & just want pain pills, which, until this point in my 50 years, I have never taken for more than 3 days after ANY surgery, including 4 tracheoscopies....I try to take Aleve & alternate with Ibuprofen & Acetomenophine, but nothing works. Also, I just went & bought a heating pad & am using it several times each day to try to diminish pain & it does little to help....SOMEBODY please tell me what is going on & how to stop this pain!!!

Hi, I am approaching day three of my gallbladder removal. I had mine removed July 10 and today is July 23. I was told that my pain would go away bay the start of day two, but my pains are actually growning. I am very weak in my left hand, I can't stand up straight or it feels like all of my organs are going to drop so I hold the bottom of my stomach when I walk. My back pain was here prior to surgery but since I've had it it has been worst. My back is hurting more than my abdomen, especially when I inhale. I was told this was an easy surgery and it isn't one by far.

I had my gallbladder removed 6/16/15. Recovery has been an absolute nightmare. I have the same problems...severe back pain, chronic pain under the ribs, episodes of diarrhea or constipation. I have not been able to return to work. Now I'm suffering from chronic fatigue and pain all over my body. My doctors all blame it on anxiety. I'm afraid and not sure what's causing the pain. I do not know how to manage the pain. I also am afraid that the doctors have missed something because the pain is identical to the pain before surgery. I have been diagnosed with IBS and was told that my anxiety triggers the symptoms....I have a hard time believing that all of us with the same symptoms and yet nothing is wrong?
